Eric's interest in older homes began as he traveled through the rural towns of Illinois while attending Southern Illinois University. He loved to compare the different architectural styles utilized in various regions, throughout the past century. He imagined the story the walls could tell, as well as envisioned how a particular home transformed throughout the years to provide modern function to the families who lived there.
A native of Illinois, Eric moved to Portland in 2006 following his love of the outdoors. Having visited many parts of the country, Eric found Portland's balance of urban life and the neighborhood feel to be a perfect fit. After moving to Portland, Eric worked as a retail manager for Cost Plus World Market and later transitioned to insurance with two national auto insurance carriers.
His experience in management and insurance provided Eric with a natural balance of establishing professional relationships while negotiating effectively to meet his clients' best interests. He welcomes the uniqueness and challenges that come with each real estate transaction and enjoys working with both buyer's and sellers. He takes the time to explain the home buying or selling process and maintains great attention to detail throughout the transaction.
Based on his original love for older homes and specifically Craftsman architecture, Eric was drawn to work with The Bungalow Guy. Eric joined Rambo Halpern in 2015 to form The Bungalow Guy Team. He enjoys the support of the team environment and feels that it helps to deliver an exceptional home buying or selling experience for each client.
